What's On in Alicante This Weekend: 17 to 19 July 2026
Three nights of jazz at the ADDA plus free open-air concerts across the city. Your 17 to 19 July weekend, sorted.
Next weekend is a good one if you like live music. The ADDA has three nights of serious jazz lined up, one act per night, and the city's free summer concert series keeps rolling in between. You could do all three ADDA nights and still catch free music outdoors on Sunday without spending anything beyond the tickets. Here is the rundown for Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July, with links to every listing so you can check details and book.
Friday 17 July
The night to book is Carles Benavent trío at the ADDA. Benavent on bass, Roger Mas on vocals and Toni Pagès on drums and percussion, mixing song, jazz and Mediterranean roots. Benavent is a legend of the Spanish bass, so this is the safe bet of the weekend.
- Cuentitis Clownica - a clown show on the city's summer agenda. Details on the listing.
- Taller: Identidad Transferida Flor - a creative workshop, also via the city agenda.
- Verano de Músicas: Bloom - part of the free Verano de Músicas concert series.
Saturday 18 July
Saturday belongs to Niño Josele's "Paz" at the ADDA, a homage to Bill Evans played on flamenco guitar, twenty years after the album first came out. He brings Dani Noel on double bass, Daniel García Bruno on drums and Raynald Colom guesting on trumpet. Flamenco guitar meeting a jazz piano classic is not something you see every Saturday.
Sunday 19 July
Sunday is the fullest day of the three, with two free options alongside a headline show. It closes with Zenet's "Las Manos y La Voz" at the ADDA, where he presents his new record live, described as his most intimate yet. With Lila Horovitz on bass, Aaron Pozo on sax and Julián Olivares on guitar.
- Verano en Parques: Tararos rock - free live rock in the parks programme.
- Verano de Músicas: Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Alicante - the city's own symphonic band, part of the same free series.
Make a weekend of it
If you are planning to be out anyway, it is worth knowing the city beyond the concert halls. Our guide to the best coworking spaces in Alicante sorts your Monday morning after a late Sunday, and if the summer has you thinking bigger, here is how to plan a first Ibiza trip from Alicante.
One practical note: the free city-series listings above do not include start times in the agenda snippets we pulled, so click each event for the schedule before you plan your day. Dates and line-ups come straight from the venues' own pages, linked on every event, and it is worth a quick look again before you head out in case anything changes.
