Fiestas de San Roque, Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 August
The Fiestas de San Roque 2026 run from Thursday 13 August to Sunday 16 August. This is the big one for the weekend. Four days of fiesta is a proper commitment, so it helps to know what you're walking into.

Friday 14 August: a Mamma Mia story at Verano de Músicas
On Friday 14 August, the Verano de Músicas series has Nuestro último verano: Una historia de Mamma mia. The title translates to "Our last summer: a Mamma Mia story", which gives you a fair idea of what you're in for.

Going by that name, it looks like one for the kids, but that's our guess rather than a fact. Check the city's page before you go so you know what you're getting. If you've got little ones to entertain on a Sunday, it's an easy option to look into.
How we'd play it
San Roque is the anchor. Dip into the fiestas whenever you're free, then build around them. Music on Friday or Saturday, the park on Sunday if you've got kids in tow.
One honest caveat: the city's agenda entries for these events are thin on times and venues, so treat the links above as your starting point. We'd rather say that than make something up.
