La Finca

La Finca is Susi Díaz's Michelin-starred restaurant in a country house on Camí de Perleta, out in the countryside just outside Elche. It's the big special-occasion meal in the area, and she's been running it for over 40 years. The cooking is creative but rooted in seasonal market produce from the Elche countryside. There's a tasting menu (including a longer XL version), and the site's event menus give a flavour of the style: asparagus foam on mushroom soil, hake with warm gazpacho and prawn oil, guinea fowl with truffle, roast lamb with garden herbs. Reviewers love the garden and the calm, modern dining room inside the old building. Book ahead online or by phone. Hours change with the season: outside high summer it's lunch Wednesday to Sunday with dinner only on Fridays and Saturdays, and there are several closure days in autumn 2026, including Wednesdays in late October and November. You'll need a car or taxi to get there.
