El Granero

Taberna El Granero has been feeding Elche since 1997, and it's a good shout for a proper sit-down lunch of Mediterranean cooking without big-city prices. You'll find it on Carrer Francisco Vicente Rodríguez, and inside it feels smart but cosy rather than stuffy. The house speciality is roscas, a bread-based dish they fill in loads of different combinations.
