Soul Mission Blues Brothers Tribute Show in Torrevieja, 13 December 2026

A Blues Brothers tribute with more than eleven musicians on stage hits Torrevieja on Sunday 13 December 2026. From 39 euros.

If you grew up with the film, you already know the uniform: black suit, black hat, black sunglasses. On Sunday 13 December 2026 a tribute show called Soul Mission brings all of that to the Auditorio Internacional in Torrevieja, with a full band behind the two frontmen. Here's what the listing says, and what we'd do with it.

The basics

What you're getting

The listing keeps it short. More than eleven international musicians on stage. A big brass section, powerful voices and what it calls the best groove sound, playing the big rhythm and blues classics live. That's it. No song list, and no names for who's in the band.

Read between the lines and it's clear what kind of night this is. The Blues Brothers were a 1980 film before they were anything else, and the music was always the real point: a horn-heavy soul revue with two singers in suits out front. A tribute with eleven-plus players is going for that full sound, not two blokes and a backing track. The poster on the listing shows the two frontmen in the suits, hats and shades, with the band lit up behind them.

Who it suits: anyone who likes a horn section. Anyone who has ever done the dance from the film at a wedding. Groups of friends who want a loud, happy night out in December without needing to follow the lyrics. The songbook is American soul and rhythm and blues, so expect the singing in English even if the chat between songs is in Spanish.

Tickets

Tickets start at 39 euros on the Cultura Torrevieja listing. That's the only price given, so the better seats will cost more and the listing doesn't say how much. The poster isn't marked as sold out. Still, check the listing before you plan the evening around it, and buy through the official channel only.

The page is in Spanish. Your browser's translate button handles it fine. We couldn't check live ticket availability from here, so treat the listing as the source of truth.

Getting there and making a night of it

The Auditorio Internacional is in Torrevieja, at the southern end of the Costa Blanca. A Sunday night at 20:00 in December is about as relaxed as a Torrevieja trip gets. The summer traffic is long gone and parking is a different story from August. Still, it's a concert hall with a fixed start time, so don't cut it fine.

Flying in for it? Our Alicante Airport to Torrevieja guide covers the bus, taxi and transfer options.

Eat before. A 20:00 start is early for a Spanish Sunday dinner, so book something rather than hoping to walk in afterwards. Casa Del Mar is in our directory. If you're in town earlier in the day, Bibliotekcafé is the café we'd send you to for a coffee and a sit-down. And a walk along the new Paseo del Mar waterfront before the sun goes down is a good way to fill the afternoon.

Make it a weekend

This is the second big night at the Auditorio Internacional in a little over a week. Malú's Quince Tour plays the same hall on Saturday 5 December 2026, and it's a very different crowd. The night before that, on Friday 4 December 2026, The Jazz Room at Soda Bar in Alicante does its New Orleans night. If horns are your thing, that's a good warm-up.

And if you like a tribute act done properly, Torrevieja had Brothers in Band's Dire Straits tribute on Friday 13 November 2026. There's clearly an audience for this stuff down here.
