Surfin Halloween at Sala Stereo, Alicante: three bands on 31 October 2026
Three guitar bands then a club session at Sala Stereo on Saturday 31 October 2026. Here's what to know before you go.
Halloween 2026 lands on a Saturday, which in Alicante means the old town will be rammed whatever you do. If you'd rather point the night at something specific instead of drifting between packed bars, Surfin Halloween at Sala Stereo is the obvious pick. Three bands, then a club night, all under one roof.
What you're getting on the night
The bill for Saturday 31 October 2026 is La Década Taleguera, Radio Days and Deaf Devils. Stereo's own pitch is simple: three guitar bands with attitude, and when the live part wraps, the party keeps going with BLITZMIX in the club. So this is a gig that turns into a full night out, not a concert you file out of at midnight while you hunt for the next plan.
That format matters on Halloween. Most of the Barrio will be a slow shuffle of costumes between bars with queues. Being inside one venue with live music first and DJs after is the lazier, better play.
The bands, as far as the listing goes
The one to know is La Década Taleguera. They're playing at home. The event page calls them veterans of the Alicante scene, and their thing is punk versions of rumba, which is exactly as daft and as fun as it sounds. A local band doing a hometown Halloween show usually pulls a crowd that's up for it, and that does more for a night than a big name flown in cold.
Honest caveat: the listing says very little about Radio Days and Deaf Devils beyond their names. Treat them as part of the package, not the reason you buy a ticket. The other gap is practical. There's no door time or ticket price in the listing we've seen, so check the event page before you commit. Spanish gig nights start late, but if the bands are your reason for going, don't roll in at 1am expecting to catch them.
Sala Stereo, if you've not been
Sala Stereo is at C/ Pintor Velázquez 5, in the old town. It's a proper club rather than a bar with a stage: industrial look, a serious sound system, and DJs who move between house, techno and Latin beats depending on the night. Google has it at 4.1 from 773 reviews, which is solid for a nightclub. Club ratings always run lower than restaurant ratings; nobody loves the place that sold them their 3am drinks.
Getting there is a walk, not a drive. The streets around it are narrow, parking in the Barrio is a non-starter on any Saturday night, and on Halloween it will be worse. Walk in, or get dropped at the edge of the old town and do the last few minutes on foot. Think about the trip home too; taxis get thin around the Barrio in the small hours when everyone gives up at the same time.
Worth planning around?
Yes, if you want your Halloween sorted with one decision. You get live music, a club night and the costume chaos of the Barrio on the walk in, without paying three different covers. It's not for everyone though. It'll be loud, hot and crowded, and if punk covers do nothing for you, you're mostly there for the DJs after the bands. On the one night of the year when everywhere is crowded anyway, that's a fair trade.
If this isn't your speed, there's gentler live music on the calendar. The Brothers in Band Dire Straits tribute in Torrevieja on 13 November 2026 is a sit-down kind of night two weeks later. And for a sense of how much else a normal weekend here holds, the Alicante weekend guide for 2 to 4 October 2026 is a decent snapshot.
Check the event page for times and tickets, sort your costume, and build the rest of the night around it.
