Béton Brut

Béton Brut is the big multi-level venue on the Paseo de Levante in Alicante's port, and you'd go for a sunset drink on the rooftop or a proper meal overlooking the boats. It opened in May 2025 in the old Dársena restaurant building, run by Forty Group, with the name nodding to brutalist architecture. Each floor does something different. The ground floor and terrace are the casual bit, for wine, cocktails and lighter snacks outdoors. The first floor is the main restaurant, where chef Pablo Montoro cooks grilled dishes, rice and seafood. There's an events floor with its own bar, and up top a rooftop terrace with signature cocktails, champagne and DJs on some nights. It pitches itself at locals and visitors alike, from a morning coffee to a long dinner. The terrace is the cheaper way in if you just want a drink with a view; the restaurant upstairs is a more dressed-up night out. Worth booking for dinner or for a rooftop table at sunset.
