Xiringuitos del Sol - Punta Prima

This is the beach bar on Punta Prima beach in Orihuela Costa, run by Xiringuitos del Sol, and it's where you grab a coffee, a cold beer or a plate of grilled sardines without leaving the sand. It came back in August 2025 after the beach went nearly three summers without one. The menu is classic chiringuito fare: breakfasts, bocadillos, tapas and Mediterranean plates like those sardines, plus cocktails once the afternoon gets going. The same company runs beach bars all along this coast, from La Zenia to Cabo Roig, and puts on live music at some of them in summer. It's seasonal, opening from April to the end of October, and runs from early morning into the evening. Outside the season, the group's La Zenia and Cabo Roig bars stay open all year if you still fancy a drink by the sea. On sunny summer weekends it's worth arriving early to grab a spot.
