ULab

ULab is a coworking and business centre on Plaza San Cristóbal, right in the centre of Alicante, and one of the city's longest-running spaces. It's been going since around 2016 and is a good bet if you want a sociable desk with events on tap. You can pick between coworking desks, private offices and a virtual office with a business address and mail handling. There are meeting rooms, training rooms and a large multipurpose auditorium used for talks, workshops, shoots and conferences. The website advertises coworking from €60 a month and a day pass, and you can sign up for a free trial day before committing. The community side is a big part of it, with networking, member interviews on the blog and a coffee corner. ULab has also teamed up with a local apartment company to offer coliving stays with desk access. It's open weekdays from 8am to 8.30pm, so it suits freelancers, remote workers and newcomers who want to meet people fast.
