Mish Mish

Mish Mish is the Lebanese spot on Plaza San Cristóbal, at the edge of the old town, and it's the go-to when you fancy a big spread of mezze instead of another round of bravas. It's open all day, from brunch through to dinner. The menu is long and properly Lebanese: several kinds of hummus (beetroot and basil among them), muhammara, mutabal, baba ganoush, falafel, kibbeh and stuffed vine leaves, then shawarma, chicken and lamb skewers, kofta and lamb chops from the grill. Finish with knafeh or baklava. Veggies and vegans are well looked after, and there's a vegan brunch option in the mornings. Reviewers keep mentioning how fresh it all tastes and how friendly the staff are, and most people spend somewhere around 20 to 30 euros. From mid-afternoon the tea lounge side opens for mint tea and shisha. It's popular, so book online or by phone for dinner.
