Baviera

Clínica Baviera is a big Spanish chain of eye clinics, and this is its Alicante branch on Carrer d'Ausó y Monzó. People mostly come here to look into laser eye surgery, though it covers general eye care too. Services include laser and lens surgery for short sight, long sight and astigmatism, cataract surgery, presbyopia surgery for people who've started needing reading glasses, and general ophthalmology appointments. At the time of writing they're offering a free first consultation for surgery assessments, valid until the end of 2026, so it's an easy way to find out whether you're a candidate without paying upfront. For international residents, the clinic lists English, French, Italian and Valencian alongside Spanish, which makes the detailed pre-surgery chat a lot less stressful. Patient parking is free. It's open on weekdays from morning to evening, with Saturdays by appointment only. You can book through the website or by phone.
