Beyoga Alicante

Beyoga is a boutique yoga and Pilates studio in central Alicante, on Calle Poeta Campos Vasallo, and one of the easiest places in town to practise in English. Classes run in both English and Spanish, and the teachers come from all over: Italy, Argentina, Hungary and Alicante itself. The timetable covers Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Rocket yoga, plus Pilates Sculpt and mat Pilates. Co-founder Giulia, a former professional volleyball player, teaches Vinyasa and Rocket and runs teacher trainings. Co-founder Mery, who's from Alicante, leads the Pilates side. The studio's line is that no style is better than another, so it's a good place to try a few and see what sticks. You book and buy classes through the Beyoga app, with class packs and unlimited options. They also run workshops and rent the space out for events. It's a 134 square metre studio with a real community feel, so it's a good shout if you're new in town and want to meet people as well as stretch.
