September might be the best month in Alicante. The heat eases off, the crowds thin out, and the calendar fills up with things people who actually live here go to. Here's what's worth your time in September 2026.
Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September: start the month at the port
BeerPong September and Open Bar takes over Parabarap's port spot at Mlle. Levante, 6, 8b on Wednesday 2 September, running into Thursday 3 September. Beer pong, an open bar and a DJ set from Bad Mara and Tisu, with tickets from 5 euros. Thursday 3 September: sunset drinks, or spreadsheets
Sunset Experience @SiDERAL happens on Thursday 3 September at INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante Porta Maris. The hotel opens up its first-floor bar for the sunset, and that's the whole pitch. Sometimes that's enough.
